Philanthropy

This year, AEPi Omicron chapter held a Philanthropy hot dog eating contest hosted by renown hot dog connoisseur, Joey Chestnut. All proceeds from T-Shirt and Ticket sales were donated to two charities of our choice, The Sherry Strong Foundation and The Matthew Friedman Memorial Foundation. As a chapter, we raised over $12,000 in donations that was directly sent to these foundations.

Formal

Each spring, AEPi hosts a formal at a different destination. Past cities include New Orleans, Charleston, and Nashville. During that time, brothers have the opportunity to explore the city and take part in the events planned for the weekend.

Mountain Weekend

Mountain weekend is a retreat of the entire chapter and their dates to a beautiful campsite in Flat Rock, North Carolina. The weekend is full of bonding time as brothers spend the day at the lake, play games around the site, and enjoy watching the UGA football game on the basketball court.

Tailgates

What would college be without tailgates? And Omicron knows how to do a tailgate. Supported and attended by hundreds of AEPI Alumni, current brothers, and people from all across campus, tailgates at the Omicron house are a staple of the chapter and make every gameday a day to remember.
